Kaathima Ebrahim is the Principal Investigator for the study on the implementation of PLH Toddlers (Book-sharing) by community health workers in South Africa. She is a Co-Principal Investigator for Book-sharing for Fathers in South Africa.
Outside of the GPI, Kaathima is an Early Childhood Development Strategist and social sector leader. Her focus is on creating systemic support for parents to help them develop positive, nurturing and stimulating relationships with their young children. She is the CEO of the Mikhulu Child Development Trust and she sits on the Driver Group of the South African Parenting Programme Implementers Network and on the Steering Committee of the Western Cape Violence Prevention Forum.
