Zuyi Fang is an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the Institute of Population Research, Peking University. She is a Disability Research Fellow within GPI and also leads the adaptation of Parenting for Lifelong Health (PLH) ParentText, a chatbot parenting intervention, in Chinese settings. Her research focuses on parenting interventions for children with and without disabilities, child protection, early childhood development, and family and child welfare.
Zuyi completed her DPhil and MPhil (with distinction) in Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation at the Oxford Department of Social Policy and Intervention under the supervision of Professor Jane Barlow and Professor Jamie Lachman. Prior to joining Oxford, Zuyi had her MSW from Columbia University and worked as a full-time social worker in the YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities, in partnership with the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, providing clinical services to families of children with complex behavioural and mental health needs.
